Violence Against Women Program

Our Violence Against Women Program offers services and support to women, living in the Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon areas, who are experiencing abuse and violence at home. Our services are rooted in Anti-oppressive principles, which ensure that all of the women and families we work with are treated with the respect and the dignity they deserve. Our programs are LGBTQI2S inclusive and value the diversity of our clients. Welcoming women, identifying folks from all different faiths, nationalities, cultures and abilities.

Sew TO Sewing Collaborative

The Sew TO Women’s Collective aims to support local women facing barriers to employment who can work from home and earn money. Our goal is to create long term, stable and fairly paid work for the women of Thorncliffe and Flemingdon Park.

Trades Connect Program​

TNO’s Trades Connect program provides education, certification, and employment programming for newcomers to develop their employability skills and receive academic upgrading, employment training, and a career pathway. The program aims to connect people to gain knowledge on a career area of focus, access certification, and achieve job readiness through hands-on and soft-skill development. The Trades Connect Program is an LLMA (Language and Labour Market Access) and IRCC (Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada) funded program focusing on three main pathways.

Multicultural Women's Group

The Multicultural Women’s Group brings together women from various backgrounds, including teens, seniors, and family members. Sessions are ongoing and usually held on two Thursdays each month. The workshops include activities like physical exercise, henna designing, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, chai and chat, sewing, and movie time. Mental Health Program

Our Mental Health Support Services is a health and wellness program that offers services to residents living in the Thorncliffe Park and Area. Our professional staff engages clients in caring environments throughout the neighbourhoods. Our clients are at the centre of everything we do. We welcome clients from any culture, faith, nationality, language, and ability. Our highly trained and professional caseworkers and counsellors are here to ensure that your health and wellness needs are met.
