Customer Service & Retail Sales Training
The Customer Service & Retail Sales Training program is designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed for a successful career in retail. This comprehensive 12 hours training covers a variety of topics relevant to the retail industry, including:
- Overview of the Nature of Retail Work: Understanding the fundamentals of the retail environment and job expectations.
- Using a Basic Computerized Cash Register: Practical training on operating cash registers and handling transactions.
- Customer Service Language: Developing effective communication skills tailored to customer service.
- Intercultural and Cross-Cultural Communication Skills and Strategies: Learning how to interact effectively with diverse customer populations.
- Resume and Interview Preparation: Guidance on creating impactful resumes and preparation for interviews, including mock interview sessions.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a 4-hour volunteer placement and 1 hour cashier register training, enhancing their practical skills and employability.
