
Training Programs
TNO’s Trades Connect program provides education, certification, and employment programming for newcomers to develop their employability skills and receive academic upgrading, employment training, and a career pathway. The program aims to connect people to gain knowledge on a career area of focus, access certification, and achieve job readiness through hands-on and soft-skill development. The Trades Connect Program is an LLMA (Language and Labour Market Access) and IRCC (Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada) funded program focusing on three main pathways.

We provide practical, entry-level computer training for low-skilled individuals especially, job seekers. The sessions cover computer basics, the use of toolbars, preparing Word and Excel documents, creating a table, spreadsheets, flyers, basic emails & introduction to using the Internet.

TNO’s Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program helps newcomers to Canada to learn the English language skills that are essential to their social, economic, and cultural integration into Canadian society. This program provides learners with a supportive environment in which they can learn a new language and explore different cultures.

English classes from Literacy to Level 5 with cultural excursions

Includes computer aid and child-minding services
Join our virtual information session to learn about the Better Jobs Ontario program. This government-funded initiative helps laid-off, unemployed, or underemployed individuals gain new skills for in-demand jobs and provides financial support up to $28,000 for tuition, books, transportation, and more.
