SWIS Regional Coordination (Ontario)
TNO – The Neighbourhood Organization leads the coordination of Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) initiatives across Ontario, strengthening regional collaboration and supporting more consistent, responsive service delivery.
The SWIS initiative is a school-based settlement program that supports newcomer students and their families as they navigate the education system and integrate into their communities. Through this work, SWIS promotes inclusion, fosters a sense of belonging, and advances intercultural understanding within schools.
