Time To Act

Time To Act - Click HERE to watch the video

Time to Act is a video project led by TNO and coordinated by community leaders Charles Zhu (Parenting Group), Najia Zawari (Women's Wellness Café) and Hamza Shahid, which engaged many resident leaders to pass positive messages during the holiday season: it consists of messages from many local residents, community leaders and local politicians.  This video project had a very tight timeline, on top of engaging residents,  we have engaged Councillor Jaye Robinson, Mayor John Tory, Councillor Denzil Minan-Wong, MP Rob Oliphant and MPP Kathleen Wynne.  On top of that, we also have familiar resident leaders such as Riffat Fatima, Shakhlo Sharipova, Jason Ash, Pat Moore and many others.  Time to Act wants to send a positive message to all the residents in Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park and surrounding areas that we need to continue to do our part to follow public health guidelines, in order to win the final race against the Coronavirus. The vaccines are here, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, however, we are not totally out of the woods yet, the road ahead is going to be bumpy, we need to continue to "be safe, be kind to each other, and stay resilient".
