This year is the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We are commemorating this  by creating awareness about why human rights matter in our 2018 Human Rights Week. See the full calendar of events here: https://humanrightsweek.org/

Here are some of the events coming up:

Congratulations to Pinky Paglingayen, one of our incredible Settlement Counsellors, who has been featured in "Journeys to the Frontline", an online exhibition by the Toronto Ward Museum.

Thank you Pinky for all the great work that you do with caregivers!

Our Hot Chocolate Day  on October 25, 2018 was such a wonderful and inspiring event!  Around 200 Thorncliffe Park residents enjoyed TNO’s free hot chocolate to warm them up. Thank you all for helping us spread the word. We’d also like to extend our appreciation for the amazing work done by the TNO’s Outreach Committee for putting this event together. We know what a huge effort it took to make the event so great.

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to Project ACRE (Act to Clean Ravine & Environment) on Saturday, October 6th, 2018,  hosted by 53 Division Police Services. Click on the images below to see pictures of the event.

The annual Back to School Fun Fair in partnership with the Thorncliffe Park Tennants Association (TPTA) was amazing! The community enjoyed the fun activities, food and entertainment. 400 backpacks were given to the kids from Thorncliffe! Thank you to the organizers and volunteers! Thank you to everyone who came to our Annual Summer Festival in Thorncliffe Park, held June 23rd in R.V. Burgess Park (46 Thorncliffe Park Dr.)!
